Tigo Tanzania overhauls top-up service

Tigo Tanzania has revamped the electronic recharge service whereby customers can buy airtime and packages from Tigo shops and retail partners. The new Tigo Rusha service will be offered by Tigo shops, Tigo Pesa Wakalas, freelancers and point of sale agents all over the country. It will complement other airtime top-up channels, Tigo said. Tigo said Rusha is risk-free, in contrast to scratch cards, for which a customer has to ensure the safety of the airtime voucher. Electronic reload service removes the need to carry scratch airtime vouchers any time one decides to top up.
