Crosscall provides rugged mobile phones to MTN South Africa for university staff

French phone maker Crosscall said it has supplied MTN South Africa with equipment for Nelson Mandela University employees in the form of 1000 of its waterproof Core X3 smartphones, including PTT application. The company said the handsets are resistant to damage from being dropped and protected from scratches. They have a battery life of several days and can be recharged using a magnetic connector, making cables unnecessary.
